Countryman Safety is a newly formed majority owned Indigenous Safety Equipment (PPE) and workwear supply Company based in Perth Western Australia.

This exciting Indigenous-owned and operated venture is the brainchild of Lawrence Hillary, a Yamatji man from the Nanda language group in the Mid-West of Western Australia and our capability partner - Safeman WA. As managing director of Countryman Safety, Lawrence Hillary brings a wealth of experience including extended periods policing, native title and fisheries. In addition to these respected Community roles, his time in Government positions working alongside Aboriginal people have allowed him first hand to observe the vast benefits of Indigenous Enterprise and the resulting positive financial and socio outcomes. Lawrence and Safeman WA all share the vision that Countryman Safety will achieve these positive outcomes which have these flow on benefits for Aboriginal individuals and communities.
